Coky’s ambition was for the titles to add to the joyous, magical quality of the story. Our idea was to create a miraculous, ‘larger than life’ herald for the film, which taps into the fantasies and dreams of fans, however old.

As the camera tracks over the Thames, glints of light appear in the sky, and as we look up, they intensify to form the the title. And then are gone as quickly as they appeared – as if only seen by those few that believe!

To illustrate the concept for the design, we mapped out a dummy animation using cardboard cutouts shot on an iPhone. Following this, to prepare for the drone shoot, we shot photography of the location and pieced together an animated previs, as an aid to the drone pilot, for timings and positioning.

Particular was used to generate the stars, with further effects and finishing in After Effects.
