Our approach was to use four fundamentals associated with Magellan’s voyage around the globe; ALLEGIENCE (or lack thereof) to king and country, CONFLICT with both crew and newly discovered peoples, the instruments of NAVIGATION that allowed them to circumnavigate the world, and the valuable SPICES of worlds unknown, all represented using custom designed compass points as our symbolic devices.
