We’re thrilled to share that Tornado, the latest film from acclaimed director John Maclean, will have its world premiere as the opening film of the Glasgow Film Festival 2025!

This electrifying action-drama follows the gripping story of a Japanese puppeteer’s daughter who becomes entangled in the dark underworld of a crime gang led by the ruthless Sugarman and his son, Little Sugar. Featuring an exceptional cast, including Kōki, Rory McCann, Jack Lowden, Tim Roth, and Takehiro Hira, Tornado promises to captivate audiences with its intense storytelling and unforgettable performances.
